Academy
The ESC Academy program is designed to allow recreational players aged U7-U10 to practice and play with kids of like ability. This program allows players to be challenged according to their level of ability and to help them develop as soccer players. It gives players the opportunity to work with experienced ESC staff coaches who have an extensive experience playing and coaching the game.
The focus of the training sessions will be teaching each player the skills necessary to have success in the game. Players will work with the ball at their feet to make them comfortable with the ball and have the confidence to keep the ball during games. Each session will lead into small-sided games to teach players how to apply the skills in the game.
The Academy program is also a great tool for preparing players that think they may want to try out for competitive soccer at U11, or just to lay a solid foundation for continued play at the recreational level at U11.
Birth Certificates
All players are required to upload a copy of their birth certificate in their player account. Please login to your Got Soccer account and upload the document in your account under the “club documents” tab. The attached PDF will show you how to upload the document in your Got Soccer account. If you are having trouble or need help uploading the document please contact Keri Shipley, Club Registrar at kkshipley@cox.net.
PLEASE NOTE: If your player does not have a birth certificate uploaded in their player account or have not provided the registrar with the document, the player will NOT be placed on a roster until the document has been verified by the club registrar.
Board of Director’s
Board members are volunteer parents of players. Each season, Board positions become open as terms of service expire. Most board positions are limited to two years service.
Center of Excellence
The COE is a training program offered by the Edmond Soccer Club to enhance the development of soccer skills for any recreational soccer players. The COE is open to all recreational players U5 – U18 boys and girls. The primary purpose of the COE is to provide a fun, yet challenging environment for recreational players to improve their ability to handle the ball. The focus of the COE will be on developing the skills of each individual player.
The COE will meet at ESC for 7 sessions on Mondays from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM. The dates are below. Each participant will receive a COE t-shirt. The t-shirt order will be placed after the first night of COE and should be ready to be be picked up by the second COE.
